Records show it operating as a fully licensed establishment as far back as 1855, and for much of its history it was known locally as The Cheggo a nickname that still raises a smile among long-time Gedling residents.
Formerly trading as the Chesterfield Arms, the pub was lovingly refurbished and relaunched as The Gedling Inn, with a clear mission: to put a great independent local pub back at the heart of the Gedling community. That commitment shows in everything we do.
